HomeMy WebLinkAboutCAMERA CORNER INC PUD PRELIMINARY AND FINAL - 34 92, A - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGDevelopmcnt Services Planning Department City of Fort Collins May 4, 1992 Dear Resident: Please note, the previously scheduled meeting for Wednesday May 13, 1992 at the Bennet Elementary School has been rescheduled to: Tuesday, May 19, 1992 at 7:00 p.m., at Bennett Elementary School (1125 Bennett Road) *, when the staff of the Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. The applicant will be in attendance to answer any questions that you might have. The proposal is for a mixed used development on approximately 0.5 acres, located at the northwest corner of Shields Street and Prospect Road (see attached map). The applicants, Doug and Mary Donaldson, are proposing to expand their existing home occupation business, Colorado Camera Repair, into an approximately 1,200 sq. ft. retail sales and service photo shop. No exterior changes to the existing house are being proposed. They are also proposing a lower level 2 bedroom apartment unit. Due to street widening projects, the current residents would no longer reside at the property, and therefore, the business would no longer qualify as a home occupation business. The property is zoned RL, Low Density Residential, therefore the development would be reviewed as a Planned Unit Development (PUD) according to the Fort Collins Land Development Guidance System. The list of affected property owners being notified for this neighborhood meeting is derived from official records at the Larimer County Assessor's Office. Because of the lag time between property sales and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbors of this pending meeting so that all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
