2006 Board of Directors is pleased and excited to inform the RMGPA
THE YEAR Membership that our Chapter has been selected for NIGP's prestigiou
Large Chapter of the Year Award! The announcement came at the ft
awards luncheon on Monday, August 7.
The NIGP Chapter of the Year Award is the highest award presented I
Chapters. It is an important and impressive distinction to have our cha
recognized for its outstanding achievements. In order to be considere
esteemed award, Chapters are evaluated for their Service to the Profe
Service to the Institute, Membership Recruitment, Chapter member se
and overall operations.
Many hours went into getting the RMGPA application compiled and re
submission. This accomplishment is a testimonial to the dedication, er
and vision of Tim Wellmann, the 2005 president. In addition to Tim's e
work, others, too, put in extensive efforts behind the scenes. Opal Dicl
charge of the project and board members went above and beyond the
their (voluntary) duty to ensure the application was comprehensive an
detailed.
If you see Opal Dick or Tim Wellmann, please be sure and give them;
the back for the job well done. This is a huge honor for every member
RMGPA. Congratulations! We are all WINNERS!
