OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH AN EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRM.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 94-405 on D or A, 1994
establishing a process for the recruitment and selection of a City Manager,
including hiring an executive search firm to assist the Council -in the process;
and
WHEREAS, the Council aj4o adopted Resol n 44-E* on the same date,
thereby appointing a three- ber Ad Hoc E ive Search Firm Committee of the
Council to interview an recommend an a cut,
ve search firm; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division issued a Request for Proposals from
executive search firms for the performance of these professional services; and
WHEREAS, e+ev" proposals were received and reviewed by three staff
members, in compliance with the City's Purchasing policies; and

WHEREAS, staff recommended three search firms for interviews with the Ad -

WHEREAS, interviews with the search firms were conducted on D t
�99# by the * --Hec Committee and each firm was scored by the members of t e
interview panel in accordance with the City's purchasing procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Ad -Hat- Committee has recommended the PAR Group as the highest
scoring executive search firm.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the "4-40e—ETec t+v are` � Committee recommends the

selection of a City Manager.
Section 2. That the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into
a professional services agreement with the PAR Group for executive search
services, said services to be performed at a cost of $��J66-for professional
fees, with authorized expenses of the search firm not to exceed $4,6A0.-
