Interpreting results:
- Green indicates you currently have enough service.
- Red indicates you need to increase service by at least the amount shown.
- If the additional volume needed or excess volume is within 0.5 cubic yards (the size of the 96 gallon cart), it is recommended to monitor the bins close to
collection day to see if adjusting service up or down is necessary. The calculator will still show these as green or red but due to the small volume difference,
changes may not be needed.
- If the volume per week exceeds the recommended service volume in this calculator, you may want to reduce your service or shift a portion of your service to
another category (e.g. from trash to recycling).

bedrooms. Follow the directions in each section and populate all the fields highlighted yellow throughout the tool. To minimize cost and disturbances to residents it is
recommended to not exceed 3 weekly pickups.
