Dear Owner,
The Larimer County assessor's office lists you as the owner of the above referenced address.
This letter is to inform you that we received a complaint about additions being built at the above-
mentioned address without obtaining a permit or inspections. After an investigation, it was found that a
permit was never issued for any additions at this address. These additions are in violation of the 2018
International Residential Code (IRC) as adopted by the City of Fort Collins.
2018 IRC Sections:
R105.1 Required. Any owner or owner's authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair,
move, demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter,
repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the installation of
which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be performed, shall first make application to
the building official and obtain the required permit.
There are additions built one on the west side and one on the east side of the mobile home and as such,
requires building permits.
This notice allows you 30 days from the date of this letter to obtain a building permit for the new
structures or to remove the structure in its entirety. Please notify me within 30 days of the date of this
letter to verify that the above items have been corrected. We send you a Notice of Violation on April 30,
2021, and June 25, 2021 this is your Final Notice of Violation.
Pursuant with City Code Chapter 1 section 15 and Chapter 5 article II division 3, Failure to comply with
this notice of violation is grounds for the City of Fort Collins to issue you a citation to appear in court and
fines up to 3, 0.00 d Ila per day from the date of the violation.
