I am the homeowner of 1105 Williams Street, Fort Collins, Colorado. My plan is to install a backflow
preventer, as requested by your building officials, in the back yard on the main waste line between the
house and the two cleanouts. Per consultation with Dave Mulroney of Irish Plumbing, the backflow
preventer would be less disruptive to the finished floors of the basement if installed outside rather than
jack-hammering much of the currently finished floors in two basement rooms and the placing -an access
in front of the toilet I would like to proceed with installation of the three egress windows on permit
#82012862 and will install the backflow device with a licensed excavato r this summer along with my
planned landscaping.
