Dear Mr. Schram:
We have visually observed the perimeter drain being installed around the exterior perimeter of
the crawl space foundation of the carriage house under construction at the above referenced
location. This observation was performed on January 28, 2021.
The drai11 consists of 4" perforated and socked drain pipe. It is placed around the crawl space .
exterior perimeter. The drain is also covered with approximately 4"-6" of¾" or less pea grnvel.
It is our opinion that the drain as installed should be an adequate means of draining out any rain,
in-igation, or grotmd water that may filtrate to the footing elevation of the structure. The damp-
proofing has also been applied usmg standard acceptable practices.
