Recently I was notified that the building permit addressed above was expiring (see
attachment). The permit was sent to me just prior to the 2020 holiday season for a
furnace replacement. With everything going on at the time, I filed the permit away and
had forgotten about it until it was brought to my attention in the attached letter dated May
19, 2021. Also, I did not realize until now that the permit had a 180-day expiration date,
which is not readily apparent unless someone reads the very small print at the bottom.
As one of the options that are available, I am requesting a one time, no-fee 180-day
extension. I am definitely interested in making sure that the furnace installation was done
properly and will be calling to make arrangements for the inspection in the near future.
