Collins Building Permit #B2101421) D ear Thresea: Per your request, CES Consultants, LLC (CES) has prepared the structural design of the new exterior wall window header in the upstairs bathroom for the remode l of th e res id e n ce located at 414 N. Loomis A venue, Fo rt Collins, Colorado. The new header will s upport loads from the exi st ing roof and is designed to support the C ity of Ft. Co llin s Design Roof Live Load of 3 0 psf a nd a Roof Dead Load of 15 psf. T he ne w heade r for the upstairs bathroom window, which will be less than 3'-6" wide, will need to be a 2-ply 2x8 h eader w ith o ne (I) 2x6 trimmer s tud and (1) 2x6 king stud o n each s ide of the windo w opening.
