The Larimer County assessor's office li sts you as t he owner of the above referenced address .
This letter is to inform you that we received a compla int a bout additions being bu i lt at the above-
mentioned address without obtain in g a perm it or inspections. After an investigation, it was found that a
permit was never issued for any addit ions at this ad d ress. These additio ns are in violation of th e 2018
International Residential Code (IRC) as adopted by the Ci ty o f Fort Col l ins.
2018 IRC Sections :
Rl0S .1 Required . Any owner or owner's authorized agent who intends t o construct, enlarge, alter, repa ir,
move, demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, insta l l, e nlarge, alter,
repa i r, remove, convert or replace any e lectrica l, gas, mecha nica l or pl u m b i ng system, t he instal l ation of
whic h is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be performed, shal l first make applica tion to
the building official and obta in the required perm it.
There are add itions built one on the west side and cine on the eas t side of the mobile home and as such,
requires build ing perm its.
This notice al lo ws you 30 days from t he date of this letter to obtain a b uil ding permit for t he new
structures or to remove the structure in its e nt irety. Please notify me w ithin 30 days of the da t e of this
letter to verify that the above items have been correct ed.
Fa ilure to comply with this notice of violation is grounds for the City of Fo r t Co llins to issue you a citation
to appear in court and fines up to 3,000.00 dollars per day from t he date of the violation.
