It is our understanding that the stair landing framing in all qnits differs tban the design drawings
provided by CTL Thompson (proJectnumber FC0773-5.405, dated 02/04/2021). Where a (2) 2x12
beam is ca Med out on plans at the stair landings, (2) .2x8 beams were lnstalled. Per your request;
personnel from our office hav:e reviewed the installe.d framing at the main floor ·stair landing.
The installed (2)2X:8 beams have adequate strength to ·carry the demand stair loads. The {.2}2x12
peam was specified to allow for a greater beam depth for the stair stringers to attach to-. The
installed stringers have a C8'16 strap oorrnectioh with a minimum length of5i' to the (2) 2X8 be.ams
therefore not requiring the 2x12 beam deptt,, No changes to the in:stalled stair framing is required.
