Mr. Hagen:
During the period, July 10 through August 18, 2020, Soilogic Inc. (Soilogic) provided
construction materials testing and observation services for the referenced project. Our
services were provided on a part-time basis and included reinforcing steel observations and
the observation and testing concrete delivered to the site for placement. Results of the
observation and testing services completed during the referenced period are included with
this report.
On July 10, 2020, a Soilogic field engineer observed the footing areas and concrete forms
placed for the footing foundations for the Building Q prior to concrete placement. The
verification of void form placement was also completed at that time. At the time of our
site visit, the footing areas and concrete void forms observed appeared to have been placed
in general compliance with the provided construction plans (Infusion Architects LLS,
Plan# LSD2277).
On July 20, 2020, a Soilogic field engineer observed the reinforcing steel placed for the
foundation walls for the Building Q prior to concrete placement. At the time of our site
visit, the reinforcing steel observed appeared to have been placed in substantial compliance
with the provided construction plans (Infusion Architects LLS, Plan# LSD2277).

On July 20, 2020, a Soilogic field engineer observed the grounding (UFER) steel for the
Building Q prior to concrete placement. Three (3) #5 rebar was observed to be installed
within the foundation wall forms and extending out of the forms in the north east and north
west corners of the building.
During the referenced period, Soilogic personnel observed and tested cast-in-place
concrete delivered to the site for construction of the footings, foundation walls and floor
slabs. The testing completed in the field included slump, air content, unit weight, concrete
temperature, and ambient air temperature at the time of placement. Test cylinders were
molded from representative samples of the plastic concrete for laboratory curing and
compressive strength testing. Results of the field and laboratory tests performed during
the referenced period are included with this report. Results of laboratory concrete
compressive strength tests completed during the referenced period are also included and
will be provided as they become available.
