indicate a permit was issued for a basement finish. Additionally, a sec ond kitchen was in stalled in t he
base m ent. Th ese items are a viola t ion of the 2018 International Res ident ial Code (IRC} as adopte d by the

This notice all ows y ou 30 days from th e date of this letter to obtain a buil ding permit for the ba sement
finis h. Please notify me withi n 30 days of the d ate of this lett er to verify that t he above items have been
co rrected.
Failure to comply with this notice of vio lation is grounds for the City of Fort Coll ins to issue you a citation
to appear in court and fines up t o 3,000.00 dol lars pe r day from t he da te of t he violati on .
