Dear Mr. Laue,
Coffey Engineering and Surveying (Coffey) conducted, at your request, a shear wall observation on
2/27/2019 of Lots 17 and 18 within the Hill Pond Duplex development. This included the exterior shear
walls, the demising wall between the units, and the walls that separate the garage from the interior
space of the units. It is Coffey`s professional opinion that the items observed pertaining to the shear wall
fastening and sheathing appear to be in general compliance with the Coffey Engineering structural plans
dated 3/8/2018.
Coffey only visually observed the items noted above. No warranty is either expressed or implied for the
construction of the shear wall framing. If you have any questions or if you require further observation
