Paul Eckman, Deputy City Attorney RE: Acceptance and Improvements of Streets/ Stone Street This is just a follow-up of our conversation about Section 31-23-217, C.R.S., regarding the acceptance and improvement of streets. Essentially, any new street has to correspond with a street shown on the official Master Plan of the City or with a street on a subdivision plat approved by the Planning and Zoning Board or with a street on a "street plat" made and adopted by the Planning and Zoning Board. Since Stone Street does not corre- spond with a street shown on the official Master Street Plan and is not a street on a subdivision plat, it should be legitimated and given the "legal status of a public street" by presenting a street plat to the Planning and Zoning Board for approval, on which plat Stone Street is located. This plat should be signed by the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board, attested by its secretary and recorded with the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder. WPE:whm 300 LaPorte Avenue • P. O.
