SUBJECT: California Plaza PUD
The subject PUD is scheduled to go to the Planning and Zoning Board this
evening for Preliminary approval. Because of an incomplete drainage sub-
mittal the Final approval was moved to the January, 1990, Board meeting.
Mr. David Herrera of the Fort Collins Housing Authority requested that we
allow the PUD to go Preliminary/Final because the property on which the PUD
is located is owned by the Housing Authority and upon full approval will be
purchased by Platte Valley Commercial Corporation, the owners of the Cali-
fornia Plaza building. For various reasons this purchase needs to be com-
pleted by the end of 1989. I understand that David Herrera will be repre-
senting the project at tonight's meeting and he will be able to expand on
the reasons.
Due to the circumstances, the Stormwater Utility agrees to allow the Cali-
fornia Plaza PUD to go Preliminary/Final at the December 18, 1989 Planning
and Zoning Board meeting with the condition that prior to the execution of
the PUD documents all storm drainage requirements must be met.
