Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 RE: King Soopers #09 1015 S. Taft Hill Rd. Dear Mr. Ludwi%� As your aware, we are presently involved in an expansion of the above referenced project. This store will actually close down for only four (4) days and is tentatively scheduled for a Grand Re -Opening on Wednesday 4/29/98. Part of the approved plans and specifications include some site improvements, specifically the parking lot (landscape islands etc.) and the service area behind the center. As you know we experienced significant delays in getting this project started. If the weather remains good, we are still in hopes of completing all the landscaping and paving work required prior to the Grand Opening. However if the weather starts getting strange (as El'Nino is promising), asphalt plants may not open in time and landscaping may not be appropriate. If this should occur we would like to request that these improvements be delayed for a few weeks in order that the site be presentable at the opening and to insure that the improvements are completed in a seasonably appropriate time frame. Please advise this office what the proper procedures and criteria might be to accommodate this request. Please keep in mind that we would be desirous of keeping to our scheduled opening of 4/29/98.
