Box 412 Fort Collins, CO 80522 RE: Comfort Dental P.D.P. - Sidewalk Dear Joe: The purpose of this letter is to clarify the obligation to construct a public sidewalk along the south side of Harmony Road between the east property line of the Comfort Dental P.D.P. (Current Planning Project File #19-02) and Hogan Drive. This sidewalk would adjoin property owned by the Poudre Fire Authority and be considered a public sidewalk. This sidewalk would be 360 feet in length and seven feet in width and is considered to be an important pedestrian connection to serve the development of the Comfort Dental P.D.P. The cost of constructing this walk will be borne by the City of Fort Collins Street Oversizing Program and Poudre Fire Authority. The cost sharing arrangement is that Poudre Fire Authority will contribute $4,500 for the "local share" of the sidewalk and the Street Oversizing Program will pay for the "oversized share" so that the walk meets the standard for a major arterial street. It is the City's desire to have the sidewalk constructed by the time the Alpine Dental Clinic receives a Certificate of Occupancy.
