College Avenue Suite 200 Fort Collins, CO 80525 Dear Eldon: 6 -R I received your conference memo on the fire lane issue at the Orchards at Clarendon Hills. As we discussed earlier, I am opposed to the use of fire lanes in single family developments for all the reasons we discussed. However, as you pointed out, there is an existing access problem in Applewood Estates that could be favorably impacted by the use of a fire lane. With this in mind, I will allow the use of this fire lane as you have designed. My only further comment is to provide a clear width of at least 12 feet on each end secured by chains or swing gates. As we discussed, our experience with bollards has not been satisfactory. Approved "Pdo Parking -Fire Lane" signs must all be provided at each end. Si �nceerrely, Warren D.
