However, Aspen is providing the attached exhibits for your file and to demonstrate the history and purpose of the selected alignment. The last attachment (600002c-EX002- layout.pdf) shows the striping Ward requested at Joseph Allen (at the intersection). The southbound approach at this intersection is an example of how he would like to stripe this. http://binged.it/L2nIFE There would be a wedge between the through lane and the left turn lane. The desire is to get the left turn as far to the left as possible to increase the sight visibility to see oncoming cars. Please let me know if you have any questions. The proposed contours are also shown — we have placed the crown of the road 6' north of the turn lane stripe, allowing for a 2% cross -slope to the south of the crown, and a 2.5% cross slope to the north of the crown to tie into the existing asphalt on the north side of the currently existing median. Please review and provide any feedback that you may have. Thanks much! Heather McDowell, P.E., LEED8 AP TST, Inc. If it is not likely to be used, it should be abandoned at the main. Any idea what the future may bring for the location? So would a note like this work for you? City Parks Department (name?) shall be contacted 2 weeks prior to removal of the median. This notice is to be provided so that the City has adequate time to cap the water service into the median and salvage, remove, and/or relocate any of the plant materials within the median area. I will look to see if we want to save any of.' -the plants. We can cap the tap but I'm wondering if we keep it for possible future use or if it's possible to get a credit and use it elsewhere?
