GHESEAS, heretofore f written petition was presented to the Council
Of the City of Port Collins $A substantial compliance with the provisions of
Article 11, Chapter 139, Colorado Revised Statutes, by the sole owners of
the area of Land embraced in what to known as the Savouth South Shields Street
Annexation to the City of Fort Celtics, wherein and whereby said petitioners
petitioned the City of Fort Collins for the annexation of all the territory
embraced in what is known as Seventh South Sbi*144 Street Annexation to the
City of Part Collins, Colorado, comprising the lands shows to the plat there-
of attached to said petition and mere particularly described as beretuafter
as% forth$ and
WUREAS, *aid petition was accepted by the Conaoil of the City of
Fort Collins by resolution passed and adopted oa April 120 19629 and
WHEREAS, notice for bearing on the 24th day of Nay, Aa D. 1962, on
an ordinance appreving the aeasxatien of said territory end including the Sam*
within the 111alts and jurisdiction of the City of left Collins was duly
published as provided by law, sad
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has found that the
petition sad the documents thereto attached meet the requirement* of Article I1,
Chapter 139, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1953, and
wNEREAB, so preceedinga for an election to determine the question
of snnaxation have boon initiated by written counter -petition as provided by
law and so objection to sunoaation having base made,
BE IT OEDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS;
Section Is That after due considoration of the petition for
aaaoration, the petition for the snnexatiou of all the territory in what is
known and described as Savosth South Shields Street Aaaexatien to the City of
Fort Collins, Colorado, ss shown by the plat thereof annexed to said petition
and which is trove particularly described as follows, to -wits
That portion of the A of $RC of BRk of Section 15, Township
T irorth, Range 69 West of the 6th F.M. described so follows:
Beginning at a point on East line of said Sgk, 827.88'feet
Morth.of Southeast corner of said Section 150 thence North
85 feet, thence W. 89.30` W, 170 feet, thence S, 0°2}' R,
85 feet, thence S. 89*30' E, 170 feet to the point of beginning;
be accepted sadapproved and that said territory be Manexed and made a part of
the City of Fort Collins and be included within the limits and jurisdiction of
the City of Fort Collins as a part of "A" Residence District, Mud that the
City Clerk be and he is hereby autherised and directed to prepare certified
copies of this ordinance, to each of which shall be attached a plat of said
Seventh South Shields Street Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado,
and *hall file a copy thereof in the office of the Clerk and Rocorder of
the County of iarimer, and another copy thereof in the office of the Clerk
of the City of Fort Collins, together with a certified copy of *aid petition
and anethor copy of said petition and approving ordinance with the Secretary
of State of the state of Colorado.
$action 2, That in accepting and approving the plat of the Seventh
South Shields Street Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, the City of Fort
Collins does not assume obligations respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer dines& gas sales, electric light lines or other services or utilities
with respect to service of said addition, except as may be required and pro-
vidod by the waste of the property within the limits of said ridition in
compliance with the terms and provisions of Chapter 15, Code of Ordinance*
of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado. 1958, ss amended, relating to local
and public impro"wentse

of Fort Collins, Colorado, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance is
a true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 22, 1962, annexation property known
as the Seventh, South Shields Street Annexation to the City of Fort Collins
which was passed and adopted on final reading on the 21st day of June, A. P. 1962.
