ORDiNAHCE H0. 1 , 1963,
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF WHAT 18 KNOWN AS
THE SOUTH TAFT HILL THIRD ANNII(ATION TO THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS AND TO 11 INCLUDID WITHIN THE LIMITS
AND JURISDICTION THERIOF, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY
CONTAINED IN ARTICLE 11, CHAPTIR 139, COLORADO RSVISID
STATUTES, 1953
WHEREAS, heretofore a written petition was presented to the Council
of the City of Fort Collins in substantial compliance with the provisions of
Article 11. Chapter 139, Colorado Revised Statutes, by the owners of more than
fifty per eent (50%) of the area and who canprise the majority of landowners
residing in the area of land embraced in what is known as the South Taft Hill
Third Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, wherein and whereby said petitioners
potitioned the City of Fort Collins for annoxation of all the territory
embraced in what is known as the South Taft Hill Third Annexation to the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado, comprising the lands shown in the plat thereof
attached to said petition and mews particularly described as hereinafter sot
forth, and
WHEREAS, said petition was accepted by the Council of the City of
tort Collins by resolution passed and adopted on November 12, 1964, and
WHIRIAS, n)tico for hearing on the 24th day of December, 1964, on
an ordinance approving the annexation of said territory and including the some
within the limits and jurisdiction of the City of Fort Collins was duly
published as provided by law, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Port Collins has found that the
petition and the documents thereto attached moat the requirements of Article
11. Chapter 139, Colorado Revised Statutes. 1953. and
WHEREAS, no proceedings for an election to determine the question of
annexation have been initiated by written counter -petition as provided by law
and no objection to annexation having boon madei
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINs
Section 1. That after due consideration of the petition for
annexations the petition for the annexation of all the territory in what is
known and described as the South Taft Hill Third Annexation to the City of
Fort Collins, Colorado, as shown by the plat thereof annexed to said petition
and which is more particularly described as follows, to -wits
A tract of land situate in the NO of Section 13, Township
7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P.M.. County of Larimer,
State of Colorado, which considering the West line of said
NWk as bearing N. 00*32' W. and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto is contained within the boundary
lines which begin at a point which boars N. 00*32' W. 662.15
foot from the West } corner of said Section 15, said point
being the Northwesterly meet corner of the South Taft Rill
Second Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, sad
run thence N. 00*32' W. 231.92 fast; thence Rest 865.00 fast;
thence S. 00.32' R. 233.33 fast to a point on the Northerly
line of the South Taft Kill First Annexation to the City of
Fort Colliam, Colorado; thence N. 89'5423" W. 865.00 feet
along the Northerly line of said South Taft Kill First and
Second Annexations to the point of beginning;
be *"opted and approved and that said territory be annexed and same a part
of the City of Fort Collins and be included within the limits and jurisdiction
tf the City of Fort Collins as an "A" Residential District, and that the City
Clark be and he is hereby authorised and directed to prepare certified copies
of this ordinance, to each of which *hall be attached a plat of sold South
Taft Kill Third Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and *hall
file a copy thereof in the office of the Clark and Recorder of the County of
Lorimar. and another copy thereof in the office of the Clark of the City of
Fort Collins, together with a certified copy of said petition, and another sopy
of said petition and approving ordinance with the Secretary of State of the
State of Colorado.
Section 2. That in accepting and approving the plat of the South
Taft Kill Third Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, the City of Part
Collins does not assure obligations respecting the aeastrustion of water Maine,
sewer Bass, gas mains, electric light linos or other services or utilities
with respect to service of said addition, except as may be required and provided
by the owners of the property within the limits of said addition in compliance
with the terms and provisions of Chapter 15. Code of Ordinances of the City of
Port Collins, Colorado, 19580 as amended, relating to local and public
improvements.

of Fort Collins, Colorado, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance is a
true and correct copy of Orinance No. 1, 1965 annexing what is known as the
South Taft Hill Third Annexation to the City of Fort Collins} Colorado, which
was passed and adopted on final reading on the 28th day of January, A. Do 1965•
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal
of the City of Fort Collins, this loth day of February, A. D. 1965m
