more than fifty par cent (50%) of the area and who comprise the majority of

in the plat thereof attached to said petition and more particularly described
as hereinafter set forth, and
WEER AS, said petition was accepted by the Council of the City of
Fort Collins by resolution ?assed and adopted on December 16, 1965, and
notice for hearing on the 27tb day of January, 1966, on
an ordinance approving the annexation of said territory and including the same
within the limits and jurisdiction of the City of Fort Collins was duly
published as provided by law, and
WlMEAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has found that the
potitior. and the documents thereto attached meet the requirements of Article
11,'Chanter 139, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1953, and

Of this ordinance, to each of which shall be attached a plat of said Valley Hi
Subdivision FirstAnnexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and shall
file a copy thereof in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of the County of
Latimer, and another copy thereof in the office of the Clerk of the City of
Fort Collins, together with a certified copy of said petition, and another copy
of said petition and approving ordinance with the Secretary of State of the
State of Colorado.
Section 2. That in accepting and approving the plat of the Valley Hi
Subdivision First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, the City of Fort
Collins does sot assume obligations respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines, gas mains, electric light lines or other soryices or utilities with

respect to sezvica of said addition, except as may be required and provided
by the owners of ti:a property within the limits of said addition in compliance
with the .arms and provisions of Chapter 15, Code of OrdiTa::ces of the City
Of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1950, as ..Wended, relating to local and public
