WHEREAS, heretofore a written petition, together with four prints of an annexa
cmp, was filed with the City Clerk of the City of i'oft Collins reque sting sthe annexation
certain territory more particularly described below to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and determined and does hereby find and del
mine that said petition is in substantial compliance:: with the provisions of Colorado Re•
'Ivised Statutes, 1963, 137-21-6, as amended, and
WHEREAS, not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is
.contiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest exists between the 1

'iritory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the territory to be annexed is urb4
,or will be urbanized in the near future and such territory is integrated or is capableof
'being integrated with the Qty of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, 139-21-4, a
'amended, are violated by the annexation of this territory to the City of Fort Collins, Col
eland
WHEREAS, no election is required under the provision of Colorado Revised Statu
�19%3, 139-21-6 (2) and no additional terms and conditions are to be imposed in connection
.with this annexation, and
WHEREAS, the territory is elig_ble for annexation and the City Council desires
!to annex the same to the City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That all of the territory more particularly described as situate
,:the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
Beginning atthe SE corner of Section 21, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the
Larimer County, Colorado; thence North CC'29' West 2,772.23 feet; thence
South a9`31' West 121C.CC feet; thence South cC`29' East 72c.ee feet; thence Nor
�f'31' East 11�C.CC feet; thence South G��`29' East 2G5 .63 feet to the South li
of said Section 21; thence North 89'31' East 3C feet to the SE corner of said
Section 21 to the point of beginning;
ate and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to 1
known as the Southwest Junior High School Annexation to the City of Fort Collins.

Section 2. That in annex ing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the

City of Fort Collins doesrot assume any obligation respecting the constru(,tion of water mai
sewer mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connects
with the territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the City c
iFort Collins.
Intorduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 27
day of April, A. D. 1967, and to be presented for final passage on the 18th day of May, A.
1967.
