ORDINANCE NO. 29, 1967,
BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property more
particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted, and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 139-
21-7 and 139-21-8, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, the City
Council has entered its findings and determinations that the proposed annexation
complies with the provisions of Section 139-21-4, Colorado Revised Statutes,
1963, as amended.
COLLINS:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
Section 1. That all of the territory more particularly described as
situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
Begin at the Northwest corner of the NE4 of the NE4 of the
SW4 of Section 10, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the
6°h P. M., which point is on the East line of Grandview
Cemetery which was annexed by Ordinance No. 10, 1922;
thence Southerly along said East line S. 01°09' East
737.12 :feet, more or less, to the center of Mountain
Avenue, which is the north line of City Park which was
annexed by Ordinance No. 10, 1922; thence Easterly along
said line N. 89°25' East 950 feet, more or less, to the
centerline of Larimer County Canal Number 2 which is the
West line of the Babbitt Addition to the City of Fort
Collins; thence Northwesterly along the centerline of
Larimer County Canal Number 2 N. 20°10' West 107.77 feet;
thence N. 32°53' West 310.64 feet; thence N. 29°43' West
422.80 feet to the North line of the SEk of Section 10;
thence S. 89°50' West 548.92 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning;
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said
City, to be known as the Frey Annexation to the City of FortCollins.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting
the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the
territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 6th day of July, A. D. 1967, and to be presented for final
passage on the 27t1 day of July, A. D. 1967.

I, Milee F. House, duly appointed and acting City Clerk of the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance is a true and
correct copy of Ordinance No. 29, 1967 annexing property known as the Frey Annexation
to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado which was adopted on final reading on the 27th
day of July A. D. 1967.
