ORDINANCE NO. 31, 1967,
BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS) COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property more
particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted, and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 139-21-
7 and 139-21-8, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, the City Council
has entered its findings and determinations that the proposed annexation com-
plies with the provisions of Section 139-21-4, Colorado Revised Statutes, 19639
as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That all of theterritorymore particularly described as
situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
A part of the East half (E�) of Section 16, the Southeast
Quarter (SE4) of Section 9, and the Northwest Quarter (NWk)
of Section 15, all in Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the
6th P. M., Larimer County, Colorado, more particularly
described as follows: Begin at the Southeast corner of
Section 9, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P. M.,
which point is on the West line of the Municipal Golf Course
which was annexed by Ordinance No. 10, 1922; thence North
00000'15" West along said line 860.00 feet to the South line
of Maxwell's First Annexation; thence North 89°35'30" West
501.46 feet along the boundary of said Annexation; thence
South 00°02'15" East 860.00 feet along the East line of
Maxwell's Second Annexation; thence North 89°35'30" West
154.10 feet along boundary of said Annexation; thence South
00°25' ldest 740.00 feet along the East line of said Annexa-
tion; thence North 89035'30" West 170.00 feet along boundary
of said Annexation; thence North 00°25' West 740.00 feet
along the West line of said Annexation; thence North 89°35'30"

boundary of said Annexation to the South line of the Municipal
Golf Course which was annexed by Ordinance No. 10, 1922;

Annexation to the point of beginning.
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the West Fort Collins Annexation to the City of Fort
Collins.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting
the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the
territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
