ORDINANCE NO. 100, 1972,

WHERFAS, heretofore a written petition, together with four prints of an annexation
map was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins requesting the annexation
of certain territory more particularly described below to the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and determined and does hereby find and determine
that said petition is in substantial compliance with the provisions of Colorado Revised
Statutes, 1963, § 137-21-6, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the owners of one hundred per cent of the property to be annexed have
petitioned for said annexation; and
WHEREAS, not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is con-
tiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest exists between the
territory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the territory to be annexed is
urban or will be urbanized in the near future and such territory is integrated or is
capable of being integrated with the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, § 139-21-4, as
amended, are violated by the annexation of this territory to the City of Fort Collins; and
IVI&PH AS, no election is required under the Provision of Colorado Revised Statutes,
1965, 4 IAD-21-6 (2), and no additional terms and conditions are to be imposed in connection
with this annexation: and
WilFRPAS, the territory is eligible for annexation and the'City Council desires to annex
the same to the City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THERIiFORH, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THU CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Laritacr, State of Colorado, to -wit:
A tract of land situate in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 12, Township 7 North, Range
69 West of the 6th P.M., which considering the South line of said Northeast 1/4 as
bearing N. 89007' W and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto, is
contained within the boundary lines which begin at apoint on said South line which
bears N. 89007' W, 1090.00 feet from the East 1/4 corner of said Section 12, and run
thence N. 00°53' E, 416,80 feet; thence S. 89°36' W, 268.87 feet to a point on the
Fast line of Block 12 of Buckingham Place; thence along said east line of said Block
12 and its extension, S. 00053' W, 410.78 feet to a point on the South line of said
Northeast 1/4; thence along said South line, S. 89053' E, 268.80 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 2.5S3 acres, more or less.

be known as the Cast Lincoln Avenue First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City'of
Fort Collin; does not assume any obligations respecting the construction of water main;,
sewer lines, alas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities
in conncctiun with the territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances
of the City of Fort Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 21s-
day of December, A.D. 1972 and to be presented for final passage on the llth day of
January, A.D. 1973•
