BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY KNOWN AS TIIE
VILLAGE EAST FIRST ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
WHEREAS, heretofore, a written petition, together with four prints
of an annexation map was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fort
Collins requesting the annexation of certain territory more particularly
described below to the City, and
IMEREAS, the City Council has found and determined and does hereby
find and determine that said petition is in substantial compliance with
the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, Section 137-21-6 as
amended, and
WHEREAS, the owners of 1000 of the property to be annexed have
petitioned for said annexation, and
WILEREAS, not less than one -sixth (1/6th) of the perimeter of the
area to be amiexed is contiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a com-
mimity of interest exists between the territory to be annexed and the City
of Fort Collins and the territory to be annexed is urban or will be urbanized
in the near future and such territory is integrated or is capable of being
integrated with the City of Fort Collins, and
MU:REAS, none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes,
1963, Section 139-21-4, as amended, are violated by the annexation of this
territory to the City, and
MR-RPAS, no election is required under the provisions of Colorado
Revised Statutes, 1963, Section 139-21-6(2), as amended, and no additional
terms and conditions are to be imposed in connection with this annexation,
and
lt7[IZEAS, the territory is eligible for annexation and the City
Council desires to annex the same to the City of Fort Collins.

NOW, '11FREFORE, BE IT MAINU BY TILE COUNCIL OF T11E CITY OF FORT
Section I. That all of the territory more particularly described
as situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
A tract of land situate in the South 112 of Section 25, To',•mship 7 North, Range 69 11est
Of the 6th P.M., Larimcr County, Colorado, tdiich considering the South line of said
Section 25 as he;,_ring S S9°4S130" W and l�ith all bearings contained herein relative
thereto is contained within the boundary lines i•:hich begin at the Southeast corner of said
Section 231 and rule thence S S9045'30" lei 22-15.87 feet along said South line to a point
on the centerl;",' of Stover Street; thonce along said centerline, N 00°14130" I'i 140.00
feet, and a^ain along t;.e arc of a 360.35 foot radius curve to tile left a distance of
284.2S fcct; the long ci'I.ord of ,.hick bears N 22050'2S" W 276.97 feet, and again N 45°26120"
C 265.06 feet, and main along the arc of a 477.66 foot radius curve to the right a
distance of 375.:�!_feet, the lon- c;iord of which bears N 22°43'10" W 365.95 feet, and
again North 200.00 feet; thence N 89045'30" E 2664.23 feet to a point on the East line
of said Section thence S 00123'30" E 1122.00 feet to the point of beginnim„ con-
taining 63.5934 acres, core or less, and being subject to rights of way over the Southerly
30 feet thereof for florsetooth Road and over the Easterly 30 feet thereof for Lemay
Avenue, and to a right of way over tile 1'desterly 40 feet thereof for Stover Street.

Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City does not assume any obligation respecting the construc-
tion of water mains, server lines, gas mliti.ns, electric service lines, streets
or auy other services or utilities in connection with the territory hereby

annexed except as may be provided by the oridinances of the City of Fort
Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this Sth day of July, A.D. 1973, and to be presented for final
passage on the 2nd day of August, A.D. 1973.
