ORDINANCE NO. 47 , 1978
BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO
THE. CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
�JHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property
more particularly described below; and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted; and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 31-8-108
and 31-8-109, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, the City Council
has entered its findings and determinations that the proposed annexation
(omplies with the provisions of Section 31-8-105 and 31-8-106, Colorado
Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That all the territory more particularly described as
situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
A tract of land situate in the South z of Section 1,
and in the North z of Section 12, Township 7 North,
Range 69 West of the Sixth P.M., Larimer County,
Colorado, more particularly described as follows:
Considering Pe South line of said Section 1 as
bearing N 89 59'23" E and with all bearings contained
herean relative thereto, begins at a point which bears

be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the East Vine Drive Fifth Annexation.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins,
the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the
construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with territory
hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the City of
Fort Collins.
Section 3. Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance
becomes effective, no building permit shall be issued for any of the
lands herein described unless said lands have been zoned under the zoning
ordinance of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered published
this end day of May A.D. 1978, and to be presented for final
passage on the 16th day of May. s
