Please show the dimension from the existing Shields Street centerline to the proposed edge of ROW on Shields, and this can be resolved. Number: 16 Created: 3/23/2005 [3/23/051 When the utilities were routed to determine whether a 5' utility easement on Shields would be sufficient, two utilities had problems or concerns with that: Comcast said that a 15' utility easement along Shields would be required. XCEL's comment is as follows: We currently have a 4" PED stubbed into this 15' UE for approximately 50' from Raintree Drive. If you change this easement to 5' the customer would be required to make sure this stub lays within this 5' LIE. Any relocation would be at customer's expense:. The new (proposed) gas meter would need to be placed at south end of project. It would be very difficult to extend 4" PED in the proposed 5' LIE. - Len Hildebrand. Because a number of those easements require City Council approval, this project will be approved with conditions, and prior to hearing, a letter from Real Estate Services will be needed stating that the City is amenable to granting the easements needed for this project.
