Sec. 1. That the alley in Block 2, Craft's Re -subdivision
of Lake Park Addition to the City of Fort Collins from the
east side of said Block to tne center of Lot 18 be .n; the
same is hereby vacated and the right to the use and. enjoyment

of that porticn of the whey vacated is granted to School
District Tdo. 5 of Larimer County, for schocl and play ground
purpcses.
Sec. 2. The west half of Lot 13 bein & tract of land
twenty (20) feet vide by One hundred forty (140) feet long
exte_ldina from the west end of the vacated portion of the
alley in Block 2 to the south side of said Block be and the
same is hereby ordered opened as an alley for the purpose
of connecting the old alley ,:ith Garfield Street, and the
CO!"Lissioner of rlorks of the City of Fort Collins is hereby
authorized and directed to provide for the opening o° said
all:- and connectinro the same with Garfield Street as an
alley dedicated to the use of the general public.

ORDINANCE No. 6 1961
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY IN BLOC& 2 OF
CRAFTS' RESDBDIVISION OF LASE PARE ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF 27 PO
1890.RT. COLLINS ACCORDING TO FIAT DATED OCTOBER
WHEREAS, the plat of Crafts' Resubdivision of Lake Park Addition
to Fort Collins, Dated October 27, 1890, and being recorded in Plat Book 1
at page 21 0£ the records of Latimer County, Colorado, shows a 20 foot
alley running through the center of Block 2 of said subdivision in an
Easterly and Westerly direction, and
WHEREAS, said alley has never been graded, opened, improved or
used by any part of the public for alley purposes, and
WHEREAS, the only parties owning any interest in said Block 2 of
Crafts' Resubdivision of Lake Park Addition have petitioned the City Council
to vacate said alley, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it will be to the
best interests of the City of Fort Collins to vacate said alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the 20 foot alley running through the center of
Block 2 of Crafts' Resubdivision of Lake Park Addition in an Easterly and
Westerly direction as shown on the plat of said Crafts' Resubdivision of
Lake Park Addition dated October 27, 1890, and being recorded in Plat Book 1
at page 21 of the records of Larimer County, Colorado, be and the same is
hereby vacated, abolished and abandoned.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered published
this 16th day of March, 1961, to be considered for final reading on the 6th day
of April, A. D. 1961.
