This memo is being distributed to assign a street name to an unnamed right-of-way and to alter the suffix on the
portion of this right-ot=way that has been platted and named Cairnes Court as part of the Riverbend Y.D.P.
With the Mulberry Fast First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins (Ref— M-49 #2401) a portion of unnamed
dedicated roadway was brought into the City. it is appropriate for this portion of road to carry a city street name. To
the South of this portion of road is Cairnes Court and as a prolongation of said Cairnes Court this is a natural
addition to it and will logically carry the Caimes Court name.
It has also been brought to my attention that Caimes Court is not planned to be, nor, will it function as a Court. It
was suggested that the suffix be changed to be more consistent with it final alignment. This would make Caimes a
Drive not a COLutT
Hereafter: The Suffix ]-or Cairnes will be changed from Court to Drive, making it Cairnes Drive.
And, that this name will be applied to this Right -of -Way from the terminus of Country Side Drive at the
North to the point of intersection with Timberline Road at the South.
Please change your records to reflect this change.

RE: Street Name Change Request to rename a portion of Countryside Drive to
Caines Court.
The City requests a change of street name for a portion of Countryside Drive and
an unbuilt section of dedicated right-of-way (see attached map). Cairnes Court is
the new name proposed.
The street name change is requested to bring the streets in compliance with
Larimer County Street Naming Standards. The proposed Cairnes Court will align
with the existing Cairnes Court. Several property addresses will change as a
result of the renaming (notification of the new addresses will be provided
following approval of the request). The western segment of the proposed
Cairnes Court is not currently built, but renaming is necessary in order to avoid
confusion with any potential or future development.

[5/6/05] Not sure that Court is the right sufix for this street. I believe Way, Street, Road or
Drive would be more appropriate as this street will eventually tie to the frontage road.
