BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE VACATING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 324, CAPITOL HILL.
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COL''DRADO, ACCORDING TO PLAT FILED
APRIL 5, i507.
idHEREAS, the plat of Block 324, Capitol Hill Addition to the City of
Fort Collins, Colorado, filed on April 9, 1907, in the office of the County Clerk
and Recorder of Larimer County, shows an alley runnim,; North and South in said
addition, and
WHEREAS, said alley has never been opened to the public and has never
been used as an alley, and for many years last past has been abandoned ana has
been closed tc public travel, and
WHEREAS, the owners of the lots abutting on said alley have petitioned
the City Council to cause the same to be vacated, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it will be to the
best interests of the City to vacate said. alley.
COLLINS:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YjRT
Section 1. That the alley in Block 324, Capitol Hill Addition to the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado, accordin, to plat filed April 9, 1907, be and the
same is hereby vacated, abolished and abandoned.
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists
for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety and this Ordinance
,hall take effect upon its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained
in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IP of the City Charter.
Introjuced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of all
of th- Cit„- Council at a rez,ular meeting held this day of
October, A. D. 1952.

n—ibers of the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with the
provisions of Sect -ions 6 a.nd 7 of Article Iv of the City Charter; and thereafter
