Dear Gary,
This letter is to confirm our conversation of August 11, 1977, concerning the
Vance irrigation lateral between Stover Street and Lemay Avenue.
I think we are in agreement that the ditch cannot function in its present state,
due to the development on Camelot Court. It is also agreed that the most logical
solution would be to divert any storm water at Stover Street and construct a
diversion structure to accommodate irrigation flows through the lateral.
Your suggestion that Everitt Enterprises supply the pipe and City forces construct
the diversion is a feasible approach. The City Engineer's Office will begin
immediately on the design of the diversion. I would expect a proposal to be
ready by the first of September for your review.
