Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522 Dear Kerrie: Thank you for your help regarding the issue of the existing cottonwood trees at the intersection of the new Haxton Drive (to be completed the summer of 1993) and South Lemay Avenue. As per our discussion on Monday, July 12, 1993, at the jobsite, we (The Neenan Company) are proceeding with the removal of the two cottonwoods located in the right of way of Haxton Drive. We will not be removing the first cottonwood directly north of the right of way (approximately 10 feet) of Haxton Drive. The radius for the flowline from Haxton Drive to Lemay Avenue, on both sides of Haxton, will be 21) feet as per our discussion. Enclosed please find an example of the detached walk detail we will be using at Haxton Drive and Lemay Avenue to avoid any damage to the cottonwood tree north of Haxton Drive. If you would like to review this matter further, please call. Thank you. Sincerely, H. Due to the amount of structural damage that occurred to the east wall of the box structure while removing the existing 30" x 19" HERCP and installing the new 15" ADS you will be required to structurally rebuild that wall. This includes dowelling into the remaining walls and floor in a manner sufficient to replace the reinforcing steel to the same integrity as that existing in the structure. The walls shall be formed prior to re - pouring. You will also be required to rework the invert in the existing floor so it will drain to the 15" ADS outlet. If you have any questions or comments, please call me at 221-6605 or 222-1135. Sincerely, Todd Juergens Engineering Construction Inspector 281 North College Avenue • P.O.
