Box 580 117 N. Mason Street Fort Collins, CO 80522 970,416.2276 970.416.2209 — fax fcgov.com The City of Fort Collins Engineering Department has planned the North College Avenue and Willox Lane Intersection Improvements Project (the "Project") which is anticipated to begin construction in early 2010. This Project will require the consolidation of property access points along North College Avenue. One area of access modification affects the Loaf N' Jug property located at 1801 North College Avenue. This property is located to the south of the Lamplighter Motel property located at 1809 North College Avenue. As part of the Project, the City will be removing the south entrance of the Lamplighter Motel. To retain a south exit for the Motel, the owners of the two properties have agreed to a private shared access road to be located across the property line of their properties. The City has also designed a safer right-in/right-out access for the Loaf N' Jug property at its North College Avenue entrance. The new access involves removing the 'pork chop' median and installing a straighter entry area. The current entry alignment requires drivers to look back over their shoulder to see if there is oncoming traffic whereas the updated design will only require drivers to look to their left before proceeding on to North College Avenue. Sincerely, Lindsay Kuntz Real Estate Specialist III
