OK Steve Olt The proposed Landscape Plan does appear to satisfy the
minimum landscaping requirements for an affordable
housing project, per Section 3.2.1 of the Land Use Code
(LUC). The proposed sizes for the deciduous, ornamental,
and evergreen trees (on the plan and cited in the
applicant's letter dated 11/16/04) meet or exceed the
minimum sizes set forth in Section 3.2.1(D)((5) of the
LUC. However, a better plan would include additional
(larger) shrubs along the west property line, between
existing and proposed multi -family buildings, and along
the north property line adjacent to the 3 proposed multi-
family buildings. Also, the proposed 6' high cedar parking
lot screening fence along the southwest property line must
be constructed.
