Name (please PRIM): Signature: Telephone: - Approval Items for MA04084 Subdivision: UNIVERSITY SHOPPING CENTER, MCDONALD'S Site Address: 2401 S COLLEGE AVE Department/Description Action Taken Entered By Comments (if any) CURRENT PLANNING 08/17/2004 CMNT Ted Shepard 1. Awning must be Ivory (#2416). 2. Awning must be sufficiently opaque so it does not become an "Illuminated awning' which is prohibited. 3. Sidewalk must not be blocked. 4. Bollards must be installed to prevent parking directly in front of kiosk which would cause blockage of the drive aisle. 5. Advertising on kiosk is restricted. Awning is allowed to advertise "dvd rental" as shown in the attached pictures, and subject to Sign Code allowance. On the interior of the kiosk, information on how to operate the vending machine is allowed, also as indicated on the attached pictures, and subject to Sign Code allowance. But, the illuminated signage on the front of the vending machine approximates 24 square feet of illuminated signage that violates Section 3.5.1(J)(6). This signage must be modified so it contains operational directions only. The balance of the front of the kiosk must be ivory to match the awning color and non -illuminated. 6. There shall be no loss of landscaping as a result of this kiosk installation. 7.The plans do not include the material or color of the rear of the kiosk, only that it is six feet in diameter. The plans need to specify material and color. It should be ivory to match the awning or a color that closely matches the predominant building material, not an accent color, of the north elevation. 09/21/2004 OK Ted Shepard 1 have received an e-mail from Deer Creek Corporation agreeing to my earlier comments. Since that time, however, I did a site inspection of the OVD Kiosk on Denrose Court in Larimer County and noticed a red sun shade material hanging down from three sides of the kiosk. I am approving the request, subject to any sunshade material, if needed, shall be a neutral color, such as black or dark green, and not red. ENGINEERING -DEVELOPMENT REVIEW 08/18/2004 OK Peter Barnes no comments per Susan Joy. ZONING 08/16/2004 OK Peter Barnes Ok with conditions: 1) total signage can't exceed 15 sf, 2) separate sign permit required, 3) canopy must be ivory color. 08/18/2004 OK Susan Joy Page 1 of 1 01/10/2005 3:15:24 PM
