LANDSCAPE NOTES: 1. The soil in all landscape areas, including parkways and medians, shall be thoroughly loosened to a depth of not less than eight (a) inches and soil amendment shall be thoroughly incorporated into the soil of all landscaping areas to a depth of sic (6) inches by tilling, disking of other suitable method, at a rate of at least three (3) cubic yards of soil amendment per one thousand (1,000) square feet of landscape area. 2. contractor shall over seed all non -sodded areas which are disturbed by site operations with a native seed mix. 3. All trees in turf areas are to receive a tree ring consisting of a minimum 2" depth wood mulch and a minimum diameter of 4'. No weed control fabric or Edging to be used in these areas. 4. Shrub beds are to be contained by steel Edging. Steel Edging to be roll-top or use a protective cap. Edging to be galvanized or painted. Edging to be a minimum 14 gauge. Vegetation plaited within native seed areas shall include the Installation of wood much at a minimum depth of 2" and a minimum diameter of 4'. 6. All shrub beds are to be mulched with a minimum of 3" of material as indicated on the plan over geotextile weed control fabric. 1. The owner, the owner's successors, or the owner's assigns shall maintain the landscape as originally approved. All plaits shall be maintained in accordance with generally accepted professional horticultural standards and practices. Plants that die or are unhealthy will be replaced. Regular pruning and trimming will be performed to maintain health and an attractive appearance and to permit the plants to achieve their intended form and height. Landscape areas shall be maintained free of weeds, litter, junk, rubbish aid other nuisances and obstructions. q. All utility easements shall remain unobstructed and fully accesslble along their entire length for maintenance and equipment entry. 10. All landscaped areas and plant material will be irrigated by an automated system. A rain sensor or soil moisture sensor will be installed. The system control will be capable of deferential watering for irrigated turf, native grasses, and various drip/micro irrigation needs. 11. The contractor is responsible for the cost to repair utilities, adjacent landscape, public and private property that 15 damaged by the contractor or their subcontractor's operations during the installation and/or maintenance period. call for utility locations before beginning work. 12. The contractor will report any discrepancy in the plan vs. field conditions immediately to the landscape designer, prior to continuing with that portion of work. 13. The contractor will be responsible for the repair of any of their excavations or trenches that settle. 14. Do not disturb any existing paving, lighting, landscaping or irrigation that exists adjacent to the site. 15. Refer to engineering plan for grading, sidewalk, and drainage information and location. Plant material shall be maintained outside of site distances through proper placement ad pruning. 16.
