A THOROUGH SEARCH WAS MADE FOR GLO MONUMENTS FOR ALL OF SECTION 26 AND FURTHER AFIELD, USING THE BLM FIELD NOTES AND PLATS, AND USING INFORMATION PROVIDED BY AMERICA WEST SURVEYING (WHO HAD DONE A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF SURVEYING IN THIS AREA) TO CALCULATE SEARCH POSITIONS FOR THE ALIQUOT CORNERS. THE LOCATION OF FENCE CORNERS CORRELATE REASONABLY WELL WITH THESE CALCULATED POSITIONS, IN MY OPINION THE FENCE CORNERS REPRESENT THE BEST AVAILABLE EVIDENCE FOR DETERMINING THE SECTION CORNER AND QUARTER CORNER LOCATIONS. 6.
