This letter is to officially request an easement for Gandalf
partnership, a Colorado limited partnership to perform an
irrigation and floodway improvement in Sprung Creek on Colorado
State University property. We are also requesting the use of
existing roads as a temporary construction access easement to
the site.
The proposed construction on Colorado State University property
will consist of the placement of rip rap and installation of a
storm drain in the creek bed. These improvements are necessary
in order to rebuild the existing Authur Ditch structure.
The plans have been reviewed and approved by the Authur Ditch
Company and the City of Fort Collins and are strongly supported.
I have attached a set of construction plans, the maintenance
agreement between the City,Ditch Co. and Gandalf and a map showing
the proposed temporary access way.
It is imperative that the construction begin as soon as the water
is shut down for the year so we request action as quickly as
possible.
