HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004 HIGH SCHOOL - Filed EV-EASEMENT VACATION - 2004-08-02TO: k:..,,i i 1, ROM: Marc Virata. Development Review Engineer DATE: June 24, 2002 RE: REQUEST TO VACATE PORTIONS OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AND EASEMENT Attached for your review and comment is a sketch showing Rock Creek Drive and Cambridge Avenue adjacent to the 2004 High School site. Prior to the proposal of a high school being known on the property, right-of-way to create "street stubs" were dedicated along Rock Creek Drive and Cambridge Avenue in anticipation of streets being continued into the site. With the development of the high school, these street stubs are no longer necessary and will no longer be built. As such, it is proposed that the right-of-way and accompanying utility easement for these three street stubs be vacated at this time. The right-of-way creating these street stubs is proposed to be vacated, with 9 feet of utility easement retained behind the right-of-way to be consistent with the right-of-way and utility easement along the rest of Rock Creek and Cambridge.
