BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A STREET IN THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, the owners thereof heretofore dedicated to The City of Fort
Collins for street purposes, a street to be known as Spencer Drive; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the property adjoining the same have petitioned
the City to vacate a portion of said street as hereafter described; and
WHEREAS, such portion of said street is not needed for municipal pur-
poses and will not be needed in the future for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the rights of the residents of The City of
Fort Collins will in no way be prejudiced by the vacation of said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that that portion of Spencer Drive more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land situate in the SW 1/4 of Section 25, Township
7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., City of Fort Collins,
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, which considering the West
line of said SW 1/4 as bearing S. 00000'45" E. and with all hear-
ings contained herein relative thereto is contained within the
boundary lines which begin at a point which bears S. 00000'45" E.
1520.10 feet, and again N. 89045'30" E. 53.66 feet from the North-
west corner of said SW 1/4; said point of beginning lying on the
Easterly right of way line of Colorado State Highway No. 1; and
run thence N. 89°45'30" E. 500.00 feet; thence N. 00024'45" W.
99.00 feet; thence S. 89°45'30" W. 500.00 feet to a point on the
Easterly right of way line of Colorado State Highway No.l; thence
S. 00024145" E. 99.00 feet along said Easterly right of way line
to the point of beginning;
be and the same hereby is abolished, vacated and abated.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this llth day of November, A.D. 1971, and to be presented for final passage on the
9th day of December, A.D. 1971.
