HomeMy WebLinkAboutLARKBOROUGH - Filed RV-ROW VACATION - 2004-03-29--- UES rk ORDINANCE NO. 42, 1979 BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF FINCH STREET AS SAID STREET IS DESCRIBED ON THE PLAT OF THE LARKBOROUGH SUBDIVISION, CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COUNTY OF LARIMER, STATE OF COLORADO WHEREAS, Finch Street, as such street is bordered on the west line of the Larkborough Subdivision, on the east by the westerly border of Goshawk Drive right-of-way, on the north by the southerly border of Lot 8, Block 12, and on the south by the northerly border of Lot 1, Block 15, all within the Larkborough Subdivision within the City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, a subdivision on file with the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder, is no longer necessary for use by the public, said street having been previously dedicated to the City of Fort Collins pursuant to the recorded plat of the Larkborough Subdivision; and . WHEREAS, no land would be left without an established public road connecting it with another established public road by virtue of this vacation of Finch Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. The aforementioned Finch Street is vacated and replated as set forth and described in the "Replat of Lot 1, Block 15, and Lot 8, BLock 12, and Finch Street, all in the Larkborough Subdivision," which replat is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as Exhibit "A." (Note: 3xhibit "A" on file in City Clerk's office) Section 2. That the vacation contained in this Ordinance shall not take effect until such time as the replat of Lot 1, Block 15, and Lot 8, Block 12, and Finch Street, all in the Larkborouqh Subdivision shall have been approved by the Council of the City of Fort Collins.
