TO PLAT FILED SEPTMMM 300 1909.
WHH#EAs, the plat of Glover's subdivision of Block 1691, Fort Collins,
Colorado, filed on September 30, 19o9r shows an alley running north and South
in *aid subdivision, and
WHEMS, said alley is not necessary for any purpose by the public
and is detrimental to the abutting land ownars, which said alley is more
parWularly described as follows° to—nitx
dosmnencing at the Northeast oorner of lot 17 in Glovers Subdivision
of Block 169, Fort Collins, Colorado, thence South along the
West line of Lofts 17 and 18 of said Subdivision to the ,Southwest
corner of lot 189 thence Meet 30 feet to the Southeast corner
of lot 20 in said Subdivision, thence North along the east
line of 16% 20 and 19 of said Subdivision to the Northeast
corner of lot 19, thence east 30 feet to the point of beginning.
AND WHEREAS, the owners of the lots abutting on said portion of said
alloy have petitirmed the City Council of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado,
to cause the alms to be vacated,, and
A'HRREASo the City Council is of the opinion that it will be to the
beat interests of the City of Fort Collins to vacate said portion of said alley.
THEREFOR&, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THG CITY OF MT
Section 1. That the alley running north and South in Glover's Sub—
division of Block 1690, Fort Collins, Colorado, according to plat filed September
30, 1909, more particularly described as foll.owa, to —wits
Commencing at the Northwest corner of lot 17 in Glovers Subdivision
of Block 169, Fort Collins, Colorado, thence South along the
Wiest line of Lote 17 and 18 of said subdivision to the Southwest
corner or lot 18, theme hest 30 feet to the Southeast corner of
lot 20 to said Subdivision, thence North along the east line of
lots 20 and 19 of said Subdivision to the Northeast corner of lot
19, thence east 30 rest to the point of beginning.

the continued use of existing sewer, gas, water or slad'ar pipelines and appur-
tenances, and for electric, telephone and similar lines and appurtenances.
Section 31 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists
for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance
ehall take effect upon its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained
in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter.
