ORDINANCE NO. �7 , 1965,
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 114, IN
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City Council has been petitioned to vacate an alley
in Block 114, in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, as more particularly
described below, and
WHERIiAS, said alley is not needed as an alley or roadway, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the rights of the residents of the City
of Fort Collins will in no way be prejudiced or injured by the vacation of
said alley, provided that there is reserved an casement for utilities as
now constructed in said alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF FORT
COLLINS that the following described alley more particularly described as
follows, to -wit::
Commeucing at the Northeast corner of Lot 17 in Block 114
in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, thence South 180
feet to the Southeast corner of said lot; thence East 20
feet to the Nest line of Lot 5 of said block; thence North
along; the West line of Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 of said block to
the Dfortheest corner of said Lot 8; thence West 20 feet to
the point of beginning;
be and the same: hereby is abolished, vacated and abated, except that there
is reserved unto the City of Fort Collins an easement for utilities as now
constructed in said alley.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 6th day of May, A. D. 1965, and to be presented for final
passage on the 27t1 day of May, A. D. 1965.
