ORDINANCE NO. 36 , 1979
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING A
PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 105
OF THE ORIGINAL PLAT OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City Council has been petitioned to vacate a portion of
an alley in Block 105 of the original plat of the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado, as more particularly described below; and
WHEREAS, the portion of said alley to be vacated is not needed as an
alley or roadway; and
WHEREAS, -t appears that the rights of the residents of the City of
Fort Cnllins will, in no way, be prejudiced or injured by the vacation of
said alley, provided that there is reserved an easement for utilities in
the area of the subject alley and provided further that no structures or
construction will be placed or permitted within the aforementioned easement
of a permanent nature other than paving.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLL-INS that t?e following described alley more particularly described as
follows, to -wit:
Beginnirq at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 105,
Harrisors Addition, Fort Collins, Colorado, and run thence
west 100.00 feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 1;
thence North 20.00 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 3,
said Block 105; thence East 100.00 feet to the southeast
corner of said Lot 3; thence South 20.00 feet to the point
of beair�nino.'
be, and the same hereby is, abolished, vacated and abated, except that
there is reserved unto the City of Fort Collins an easement for utility
purposes in place of said alley and provided further that no structures or
construction within the aforementioned easement of a permanent nature shall
be permitted other than paving.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered pub-
lished this 20th day of rarch, A.D. 1979, and to be -'presented for final
passage on the 10th day of April, A.D. 1979.
