Gentlemen:
We investigated the subsoil conditions for the addition to the Foley's Store at
the Foothills Fashion Mall and presented our results in a soils and foundation
investigation (report dated July 14 1995). Our Mr. Robert Branson contacted Mr.
Mike Herzig with the City of Fort Collins regarding the suitability of the pavement
recommendations presented in a previous Geotechnical Investigation prepared by
Empire Laboratories, Inc (Project No. 3531-79, dated May 1, 1979). Mr. Herzig
indicated the geotechnical investigation by Empire Laboratories was acceptable to
the City of Fort Collins for construction of the building addition and parking lot. We
have attached a copy of the pavement section from Empire Laboratories report for
your convenience.
