HomeMy WebLinkAboutCITY OF FORT COLLINS POLICE SERVICES FACILITY - PDP - 29-05 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-HEARING#29-05 Fort Collins Police Facility PDP, Type II N A Commui,_-f Planning and Environmental 5-.vices Current Planning City of Fort Collins Dear Resident: September 21, 2005 On Monday, October 3, 2005, at 6:00 p.m., in the Current Planning Department conference room, 281 North College Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the City of Fort Collins Hearing Officer will conduct an administrative public hearing to - consider a development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is the City of Fort Collins Police Services Facility, #29-05. The project consists of a new Police Services building on 7.5 acres of Spring Creek Farms North, at the southwest corner of Timberline Road and Nancy Gray Drive (extended), north of Drake Road. The proposed building would be three - stories in height. There would be approximately 31,000 square feet per floor for a total of 93,000 square feet. The site is divided by the building. On the north side of the building, there would be the public entrance, entry.plaza, community meeting room and 97 parking spaces. On the south side of the building, there would secured parking for 221 vehicles and an employee entrance. The stormwater detention pond is on the south side of the site along the future extension of Katandin Drive being developed in Side Hill on the east side of Timberline Road. (This street will be named "Brockman" on the west side of Timberline Road in honor of a police officer killed in the line of duty. A small pocket park is located on the western edge of the site The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbors of the pending meeting so all neighbors have the opportunity to attend.
