Matthew Duhaime, representing King Soopers, has requested 'one last meeting" to discuss the issue
about the need for additional right-of-way (ROW) for both South Taft Hill Road and West Elizabeth Street
adjacent to the proposed fuel station at the southwest corner of that intersection. Additional ROW will have
an effect on their project to the extent that the current layout proposed would not work.
King Soopers has identified a time frame that they must get either a new facility there or redo the existing
facility to allow them to begin dispensing gas. Their expressed purpose of the requested meeting is to be
able to walk away from the meeting knowing which option is available to them. No "ifs, ands, or buts" are
acceptable to them at this time.
Please let me know of your availability next Tuesday (1/22), Wednesday (1/23), or Thursday (1/24).
